SBC Week 10 – Farewell

Hi everyone! We are near the end of the SBC.  This post is all about what I have done to my blog throughout the year! Hope you enjoy!

  • How many posts did you write?

I wrote 20 posts this year!

  • How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge?

I think that most of them are for school purposes, but they are mostly based on my interests.

  • How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers or overseas students?

I have 5 comments.  All of them are from students/classmates.

  • Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened?

My Top 5 Favorite Villains post got two comments.  I think that this happened because it had an interesting title that caught a lot of people’s eyes.

  • Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?

I really enjoyed writing my Racism post.  I enjoyed it because I wanted to tell people that racism isn’t right!

  • Did you change blog themes at all and why?

I changed my blog theme once because my previous theme didn’t work out with my blogroll.

  • How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough?

I have two widgets currently. I think that I could add more to make my blog more interesting.

  • How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll?

I have five students on my blogroll, and they are all not from HMS.

  • Which web tools did you use to show creativity on your blog?

I really enjoy the translator.  I enjoy it because people from everywhere can read it.  They don’t have to copy and paste it into a translator.

Thank you all for reading! I had an amazing school year with you guys and I will talk to you later! BYE!

I went with my mom, dad, sister, uncle, aunty, and two cousins.  Our first destination was Las Vegas! We stayed at Southern Highlands for six days. It was so beautiful! There were so many bunnies hopping around. When we arrived at the cabin, my cousins and I ran into every room. There were so many! The first day was just to relax. The second day, my dad, sister, and uncle went to golf at Dragon Ridge. My cousins and I played Minecraft for almost the whole day. The next day, it was our turn to play golf. We golfed at Southern Highlands. It was fun! We had our own caddie. The course was long but pretty. In the end, my cousin and I tied. We both shot 99.  The day after that, we had to leave ;-;. It wasn’t that sad because we were going to Disney Land!!!

When we arrived at Disney Land, we were all excited! I wanted to ride everything. My favorite ride was California Screamin’. I also found my love for churros! I had so many! It is dough covered in cinnamon goodness. We stayed there for three days. All paradises eventually come to an end. My vacation was full of wonders and experiences.

When we arrived back home, we all were struck by the HORRIFIC jet lag. I slept in for the whole week. I was tired and tired.  It was hard to adjust, but WE PULLED THROUGH!!!

QUESTIONS FOR YOU!!!

  1. What was the last trip you went on?
  2. Who did you go with?
  3. Did you have any churros?

SBC Week 7 – Are You In Danger?

Hi everyone! I will be talking about the dangers of social media. Let’s get started!

There are a lot of people involved with social media. There are apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many many more.  People don’t realize how much danger they could be if they don’t change the default setting. If you leave it, people have access to look at your content and posts.  They will not be able to see it if you put your account on private mode.  Public accounts normally are for adults and teenagers.  In my opinion, I think that kids should not be using public accounts. It is always important to check the devices setting before you use them.  There may be a weird app or some kind of virus.  It always helps to check your device before hand because you wouldn’t want to buy a new device.  There is also a chance that your social media could be hacked.  There are these posts now with weird captions.  For example, “Click this link to get 100 free followers!”  That’s what leads your account to getting hacked.  There are many people like that in the world.  BE SAFE!!!

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you enjoyed! BYEEE!
