SBC Week 8 – Flipboard Three

The first post I commented on is Lauren’s post about movies.  I commented on her post because I honestly relate to her so much hehe. I am a very emotional person :P.  Here is what I commented –

I cry a lot during movies to haha! I cried a lot when I watched Hachiko. It was so sad to me because I have a dog! I also love the pictures you used! Keep up the good work! Come visit my blog if you want! https://hmsraya.edublogs.org/ Keep up the good work!

The next blog I commented on is Maddie’s post about drawing. I commented because, honestly, I love drawing, and this post really piqued my interest! Here is what I commented –

Hi Maddie,
I love these tips so much! I don’t have much free time, but when I do, I LOVE to draw and sketch! I tried some of these out, and I love them :D! Thanks for the tips!

(If you are wondering why it is formatted differently, it is because I was trying new stuff :P)

Finally, the last blog I commented on is Camille’s post about lacrosse. I have heard about lacrosse before, but I have never seen anyone play before.  I commented because it is something that instantly caught my eye. I have never seen lacrosse before, so I thought it would be interesting to read about! Here is what I commented –

Hey Camille,
I live in Hawaii, and I have heard of lacrosse before, but no one plays it. This seems like an interesting sport though! I play golf! I started when I was 7 years old. I am in OJGA (Oahu Junior Golf Association) and HSJGA (Hawaii State Junior Golf Association)! I hope you keep on doing well!

That is all I have for this weeks challenge! I hope you enjoyed! See you guys later!

SBC Week 7 – What Did I Do?

In this post, I will be explaining which activities I have done!

For commenting activities, I did the second activity because I couldn’t find anyone on my blog that left a URL to their blog. Here are some blogs I checked out – Ava’s Blog, Paigton’s Blog, Jillian’s Blog, and Claire’s Blog. These are just some of the blogs I looked at.  I commented on one of Claire’s post about music! Here is what I commented –

Hi Claire,
I love listening to songs too! My favorite songs currently are All The Stars (Kendrick Lamar and SZA), Never Be The Same (Camila Cabello), Friends (Anne-Marie), and How Long (Charlie Puth). I listen to music every single day! I don’t think I could live without it :P.
Come check out my blog if you want! https://hmsraya.edublogs.org/

For visiting activities, I went to Rose’s blog about Global Issues. She talked about a “Nude Food Day.” It is when everyone bring food that is in containers and not in plastic bags. This seemed really interesting, so I commented –

Hi Rose,
This seems like something every school should do. I have never heard of this before! I take home lunch to school everyday. I always put my food in containers. This is a great post! Keep up the good work!
Come check out my blog if you want! https://hmsraya.edublogs.org/.

For writing post activities, I did the first activity! (I recommend you check that post out! heheheh)

I am done for this post! It isn’t that interesting…BUT I really enjoyed visiting other blogs and commenting! It is cool to see posts from people from around the world! I will see you later! BAI!

SBC Week 7 – Expressing Yourself

Hey everyone! In this post, I will be talking about how you can express yourself but through writing/a post. Let’s Begin!

For me, the first step to expressing yourself or an opinion is to write what you feel.  Don’t hold anything back unless it is better to keep it to yourself. If you feel strongly about something, start a conversation! The best way to hook your readers in is to have a interesting title to your post, visuals like photos or videos to show your readers, and to format your writing well.  What I mean by this is to not format your writing as a block.  That doesn’t seem too fun to read.  Add some pictures in between!

Another tip is to write something that you feel passionate or interesting in. Express yourself through your writing. It is hard, for me, to write paragraphs about something that I am not too interested in. If you can, write something that piques your interest!

My final tip is to figure out what you want to say and order it. Make a beginning statement for your topic.  Add your details and feelings into smaller paragraphs. Finally, finish it off with a strong and passionate conclusion. If you want comments, leave a cliffhanger or a question that allows readers to want to comment!

(If you want more tips, I recommend you check out this website. It gives a lot more tips that I hope will help you with your writing!)

That is all I have for this post! I am currently working on another post, so be prepared when it is posted! See you later!

SBC Week 6 – Quotes

Hey everyone! I will be doing activity three for this week! I hope you enjoy! (…Also…this isn’t a quote from a student.)

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”  -Walt Disney

To me, this quote means that if you don’t put effort into a certain goal, you will never reach it.  If you have a goal, you need to work your way step by step to achieve it.  It also is possible to achieve by not trying…BUT it probably will take longer. HERE IS AN EXAMPLE!

Your goal is to do two kumons. You don’t care and work effortlessly. You end up getting a lot wrong on both, so you have to work longer to correct.  If you actually TRY to get them correct and only get two or three wrong, it will take WAY shorter. (That is actually a tip for myself because I get a lot wrong heheheh)

In my opinion, everyone should listen and follow this quote. It will teach everyone an important lesson that will help them in the FUTURE! Goodbye…

SBC Week 5 – Eau De Vixx

Hey everyone! I’m back! I am here to be talking about Vixx’s new album…Eau De Vixx! I hope you enjoy.

Eau De mean Water of…so logically…Eau De Vixx mean Water of Vixx.  Jellyfish has already released official photos, concept history video, music spoiler, and a highlight medley. I am REALLY excited for this album…nobody knows the excitement I am feeling right now.  This is their first album in 11 months! I want to spread their album all over the world! Everyone needs this album in their life!

Vixx’s title song is called Scentist.  I don’t think it’s a word…I think…BUT! if it isn’t it will be the only thing to pop up if you search it :P.  They have other songs such as Silence, Navy and Shining Gold, Silence, Circle, Odd Sense, and others.  I am REALLY excited!! I think you know that already, but you can know twice :D. (Actually…I found a website that shows all the songs. Here.)

Eau De Vixx comes out on April 17 at 6:00 P.M. KST (Korea Standard Time).  For us that is April 16 at 11:00 P.M.! I have done calculations, and that is a hour past my bedtime. IT IS WORTH IT THOUGH!

If any of y’all want to pre-order an album, CLICK HERE! Also, try look at Vixx’s Instagram :D! Enjoy…you will thank me later :).

I have no picture in mind, so have a meme 😀 (Btw, Ken is the one on the left, Hongbin is the one in the middle, and Hyuk is the one on the right)

That is all I have for this post! My sleep schedule will be messed up, but it’s worth it! See you dudes later!

SBC Week 4 – Free Rice!

Hey everyone! What did you today? Well I sat around playing a game that donates 10 grains of rice for every question you answer.  It is called Free Rice.  It is surprisingly fun to just answer questions.  I clicked on this game because I have heard people talk about doing it for past SBCs and I thought, “WHY NOT.” I have been playing it for a while. I was also browsing the website, and it says that some people have donated 105,200 grains of rice! That is A LOT of question answering.  I think I only maybe answered…20…30…at MOST 40.

This is from the website – Find out more about hunger
Every day too many men and women across the globe struggle to feed their children a nutritious meal.

In a world where we produce enough food to feed everyone, 795 million people – one in nine – still go to bed on an empty stomach each night. Even more – one in three – suffer from some form of malnutrition.

It is sad that people around the world face malnutrition.  I hope that one day, everyone can have enough food.  I recommend that you try and answer a few questions on Free Rice.  Those few grains of rice could make a difference in someone’s life.
