SBC Week 3 – Story Time
Lorraine has wanted a dog for the longest time. After all of her hard work getting good grades, she could finally get a dog. Lorraine and her mom arrived at the pet store. When they walked in, they saw many animals. All animals except a dog. Lorraine’s mom asked one of the workers if they had any more dogs. The lady said that they do, but it is a troublemaker. Multiple people have gave the dog back because of its behavior. Her mom said its fine. The lady insisted though. Lorraine overheard and told her mom that she still wanted the dog. The lady nodded and took Lorraine and her mom into a room. A few minutes later, the lady came in with a small golden retriever puppy. Lorraine’s jaw dropped at how cute it was. Lorraine held the puppy in her arms and told her mom that she wanted this one. Lorraine had the puppy on a leash as her mom signed all of the papers. Lorraine looked away for a second. As she looked back, the dog wasn’t anywhere to be found. Lorraine started to panic. She told her mom she was going to walk the dog around. As her mom nodded, she ran off to go find the dog…
