• What is your favorite movie?

I have A LOT, but some of my top favorites is Venom, Searching, and A Quiet Place.

• What is your favorite sport?

Golf 🙂 ⛳️

• If you could visit one place in the world, where would it be?

Korea because I LOVE FOOD!! AND K-POP!!

• Who is your favorite singer/band?

I have a lot of favorite k-pop bands right now.  My favorites are VIXX, NCT, and BTS.

• Fruits or vegetables?

Fruits 😛 I can’t stand vegetables……….

• Sweet or sour?

It honestly really depends on my mood, but most of the time, it is sweet.

• Comedy or horror?

Horror >:3 I love horror movies so much.  Yes, the jump scares are scary, but that’s why you watch them! It gets your adrenaline pumping, and some horror movies have such good plots.  If you like horror movies, I HIGHLY recommend watching A Quiet Place.  It isn’t THAT horror-y, (That isn’t a word, but now it is) but it is so unique.  It’s considered a thriller, so it’s not THAT scary :3

• What is your favorite song?

Currently, it is called Polaroid by Jonas Blue, Liam Payne, and Lennon Stella.  It is a 100/10 song!

• What weird food combinations do you really enjoy?

I have eaten Wendy’s Chocolate Frosty with fries before, but I think that everyone has done that at one point 😛 OH! I remember that one time I ate animal crackers and drank Pog at the same time.  I’m not even joking…it tasted like li hing mui.

Hey everyone! Today, I am going to be answering a very important question. What pictures can you use legally?

On the internet, there are a lot of pictures, and I mean a lot. Which ones can you use legally? Many people just take photos that they find off of Google and put the link to the post where the picture is found.  That isn’t how you use a picture legally.  The easiest way to get photos you can use legally is to go onto websites such as Compfight, Creative Commons Search, Bing Images, and many others.

There are other ways to get photos, such as buying them, but in school, people normally don’t do that.

If you think that giving proper credit to the creator of the photo is a waste of time, imagine painting something really beautiful. A teacher thought it was nice, so they hung it somewhere in school, but they didn’t give credit to you but instead, another student. Wouldn’t feel good, right?

If you ever feel lazy, just get pictures legally. It’s better in the long run.  If you don’t, wait until an activity makes you clean up your posts and give proper credit.  That’s painful :|.

I live on an island in the middle of the ocean called Oahu.  People say that Oahu is one of the most interesting places in the world, but when you’ve been on this island for 13 years, it can get a bit boring.

My favorite moment in life is when I met Sarah, Reise, Ally, and Mari in preschool.  They have been my best friends ever since!  We are close as siblings!  It will be so sad when we graduate from eighth grade :'(.

My family members include my sister, mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and dog! My dog’s name is Haku.  He is a purebred Golden Retriever, and he is ADORABLE!! I love him so much! A new school year has started! Do you know what that means? 🎊More EduBlog posts🎊 The theme for this year is going to be anime and k-pop because why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.  In this post, I will be talking about anime because I feel like I haven’t talked about it in forever!

The anime I will be talking about is BNHA (Boku No Hero Academia). Yeah…don’t ask me what the correct pronunciation is because I don’t know either.  The main protagonist of this anime is a young boy named Izuku Midoriya or by his nickname, Deku.  Deku lives in a world where most of the population has abilities called Quirks. Quirks are superhuman abilities a person can possess. Quirks can be classified into different categories since they are unique to their user.  A kid’s quirk is either one of their parents quirk or a combination of both.  This changes when Deku is born without a quirk.

Normally, a quirk manifests when the kid is 4 years old.  Deku didn’t get his by four, but his parents just thought he was a “late-bloomer.”  Eventually, they took Deku to the doctor.  Research found that kids with one joint in their pinky toe will manifest a quirk, but those with two joint will not.  The doctors took a x-ray of Deku’s foot and found out that he had two joints.  The doctor told him the bad news, and he was devastated.  Deku always wanted a quirk so he could be like his favorite superhero, All Might.

All Might is the number 1 superhero who has earned the title Symbol of Peace.  Deku looked up to him ever since he was a child.  He never got to meet him until one fortunate day.

Deku was walking back from school to his house.  He walked under a bridge when a sludge villain attacked him.  The sludge villain tried to take over Deku’s body and almost succeeded until All Might came and saved Deku.  Luckily, Deku wasn’t hurt, but he did pass out.  When he woke up, Deku was stunned to see All Might right in front of him.  Then All Might DISAPPEARED WITHOUT A TRACE!

Hey everyone! The title of this post is “Final Post of the School Year?!?,” but I don’t think it is…let’s just pretend.

QUESTION 1! What have I enjoyed most this school year?

Well, one thing I really did enjoy was the book project. It was a small book reading project. My group did a review and summary on the book Home of the Brave. It is about a boy named, Kek who moved to America from Africa. He moved because his home and refugee camp was destroyed. His dad and brother were killed, and his mother was “missing.” I highly recommend you read this book because I really enjoyed it.

The final thing I really enjoyed doing was going to Camp Mokuleia. It was such a fun experience. I enjoyed staying up till 1 in the morning :).

QUESTION 2! What would you have changed if you could redo this school year?

…Not procrastinate. That is probably my biggest problem this year heheh. I have procrastinated so many time…it’s unhealthy for me. Even when I do procrastinate, I always finish on time…luckily. Ok I will go knock on wood now :D.

QUESTION 3! What you’re looking forward to next year?

I am looking forward to being an eighth grader. You are like the seniors of the school. I also like to visit the preschool classes and think that we used to be exactly like that as well. In all honesty though, we were probably crazier and more hectic…How do teachers deal with us haha. I WAS excited to go on the JST (Japan Study Tour), but i’m not going because of golf :D. Also it is kind of expensive, and I want to save moneyyy. HMS also had a ECST (East Coast Study Tour), but I didn’t go on that either hehe.

The first thing I want to do is go to Korea! As many of you may know, I have been wanting to go to Korea for a long time. In the future, I hope to go there and visit many cities! I really want to go to Busan, Seoul, and Incheon. I want to try eat many different foods! (Btw…Mari I’m taking you with me hehehehe)

The next thing I want to do is go to a Vixx concert! It would be the highlight of my WHOLE life if I could just go to one of their concerts! I also would like to go to a Bts concert, but I would want to go to a Vixx one more :P. (Mari, I am also dragging you along if I ever go to one)

Another thing I would like to do is learn Korean 😀 I feel like it is such a cool language! In my opinion, it is easier to learn than Japanese. Japanese has too many characters for my poor brain ;-;. I can read Korean, but I can’t speak and understand the translation to English. I hope that second part made sense.

The first link is about Overwatch.  It is my favorite Xbox game currently! I am so addicted to it hehe. I may not be good and all, but I really enjoy playing the game with my friends when I have time! If you have a Xbox, I recommend you get the game and play 😀 (By the way, you need Xbox Live to play it)

My final link is about narwhals! Narwhals are my favorite animal :D. It is a weird favorite animal to have, but they are like swimming unicorns :P. My favorite animal before was a fox! I wanted to have one as a pet hehe.
